Sick after swimming

Description

I'm aware there is a virus so I'm not positive if it was the water that cause it but I did take a day trip to the beach yesterday and today I woke up with a sore throat, diarrhea and a general feeling of unwellness.

I know the virus takes more than a day to show symptoms so I had a gut feeling it might have been the ocean water
