During the summer at Huntington Beach Ca I was enjoying my time swimming in the cool ocean waters when water got in my ears. I have had this happen before and usually thought nothing of it, but this time was different the next day my ears started to hurt and this would continue to get worse over the next two days until the point of where my ear drum had ruptured. I had to go to the emergency room because i was in so much pain with blood and puss pouring out of my ears. The doctor told me that bacteria had gotten into my ears and had caused this major infection and he prescribed me Vicodin. This ear infection was one of the worst pain i have ever experienced in my life and i think by prescribing Vicodin for the pain shows the seriousness of the issues and of the types of bacteria in our oceans.
