Description

I was climbing rocks and walking the beach just west of the Coronado Ferry Landing on San Diego Bay on January 8th, immediately following some winter storms. I fell and scraped up my hands and legs. The tide was coming in so I had to wade thru the water on my way back. The water got into my wounds and caused a scary, serious, and painful infection that nearly cost me my right hand! My injuries and ensuing infection required 2 trips to the ER and eventually hospitalization and surgery......
