Hello I am open water swimmer and I was swimming in Novak bay, Long beach Sagharbor NY on September 10,11 and 12 2018.There were heavy rains on 9/10/18.
While swimming I could smell 'detergent' in the water.
I swam 2 miles ( 1 hour) that day. At night I felt fine.
In the morning I felt super weird like I was poisoned ( no nausea etc) I went to the doctor and was asked th normal questions.
I felt fine the next day.
The water quality results fro the body of water I was 4106 enteroccocus
