My family and I waded in the water on our vacation at San Clemente Pier and beach in California, did not fully submerge. Played a lot in the sand. It wasn't until later in the day that I noticed a small sign up the beach close to the Pier, that indicated that contact with the water was a health hazard and that bacteria levels in the water were higher than normal. My husband and I both had diarrhea abbr I also had vomiting within 12 hours of visiting the beach. Still habe diarrhea 3 days later. We also have head colds and fevers with our stomach issues.
