60 year old woman with bacterial pneumonia

Description

A 60 year old woman after long distance swimming and paddle boarding for two weeks became very sick with pneumonia. She became very weak,feverish, had a deep and harsh cough and needed to go to the local clinic on 3 separate occasions for a change in antibiotics as nothing was working. The Doctor diagnosed her with bacterial pneumonia and it was 6 weeks before she improved. She had been sick previous summers but never this serious an episode.
