Description

Approximately 1/2 day to 1 day after swimming here, a rash appeared accross my torso. It was not very itchy and consisted of several small, red bumps. Approximately 1.5 days after swimming here, I became very ill. I woke up with upper respiratory issues (runny nose, watery eyes), and severe diarrhea. Within a few hours, I had a body chills, muscle pain, headache, and severe nausea in addition to the earlier symptoms, though the rash had subsided.

Of the 15 members of our vacation crew, all of us having swam here at the same time, two others woke with vomitting the morning that my symptoms appeared, and one other experienced a similar rash. The illness was not related to meal consumption.
