My 3 year old son and his 4 year friend were playing in the surf at Del Mar Beach on Camp Pendleton Thursday Sep 3rd. They spent several hours in and out of the water. On Friday the 4 yr old came down with a 104 fever. Today my son (who is never sick!) has a 104 fever.One of my co-workers who was surfing at the same time had nausea and vomiting the next day that caused him to miss work.
